I am working on 4 different versions of the ripple friendship bracelet: water, fire, earth and air. Since I've already used blues in the water one and white is not an option, I am wondering which colors to choose for the air themed bracelet. Purple?

Taste the rainbow!
I usually wear neutral colors: blue, brown, black and grey. And yet, I'm crazy about anything rainbow! I can spend hours on Etsy and Pinterest browsing through colorful pictures and items. And, of course, I like to make rainbow friendship bracelets!
Still looking for my pot of gold, though! :)

A day at the beach: Europeanstreetteam Challenge!
What a surprise when Leelabijou sent me a message telling I was the winner of last week's Europeanstreetteam challenge! The tradition being that the winner organises the next challenge, here is this week's theme:
A day at the beach!
Summer is just around the corner and soon everyone will be heading to the beach to spend a wonderful day in the sun! If you're lucky enough, maybe you've already spent some days at the beach this year!
I hope this theme gives you the inspiration to create a beautiful item. Think sand, sea shells, ice cream, beach pail, towels, tote bags, sun screen, beach volley, vintage swimsuits...

Flower appliques
I love crocheting appliques! They're fun and fast to make. Once you get the hang of it, all you need is yarn, a hook and 15 minutes to spare. Of course, that's not counting weaving in ends... One day maybe I'll tell you how much I loathe weaving in ends. Or I'll tell you the story of "Catherine and the 1000 granny squares blanket"!
Anyway... Summer means bright colors so I recently made those cute flower appliques in bright yellow and orange:
